Abstract
Las lesiones premalignas de laringe apenas han sido estudiadas a nivel molecular. Actualmente no existen biomarcadores aprobados para su uso clínico que permitan identificar aquellas lesiones con peor pronóstico. Nuestro estudio evalúa el espectro de mutaciones en 15 genes relacionados con la carcinogénesis de cabeza y cuello yde niveles de expresión de otros 13 genes relacionados con la regulación inmunológica en pacientes con displasias de laringe con evolución a cáncer y pacientes con displasia sin evolución maligna. Justificación: Ante la escasez de estudios, pretendemos estudiar las alteraciones genéticas más frecuentes en las displasias laríngeas y discriminar las asociadas a un mayor riesgo carcinogénico. The premalignant laryngeal lesions have scarcely been studied on a molecular level. Currently, no biomarker has been approved to clinical use to recognize lesions with worse prognosis. We conducted a study about the mutational landscape of 15 genes involved in head and neck carcinogenesis and the expression levels of another 13 genes related with immune regulations in patients with laryngeal dysplasias with cancer progression and patients with laryngeal dysplasias without progression.
