Abstract

Estudio sobre el papel y la significación en el desarrollo del campo de la fotohistoria en España y su construcción historiográfica del fotógrafo madrileño Gerardo Vielba (Madrid, 1921-1992), una de las figuras más representativas del panorama fotográfico desde finales de los cincuenta hasta mediados de los setenta en el marco de la llamada Escuela de Madrid, y de especial influencia tanto entre sus colegas contemporáneos como entre las generaciones posteriores.A study on the role and significance in the development of the field of photohistory in Spain and its historiographic construction of the Madrid photographer Gerardo Vielba (Madrid, 1921-1992), one of the most representative figures of the photographic panorama from the late fifties to the mid-seventies within the framework of the so-called Madrid School, and of special influence both among his contemporary colleagues and later generations.
