Educación y derechos humanos: una reflexión en torno al derecho a la privacidad

Abstract

Hoy en día, con el desarrollo de las nuevas tecnologías e internet, tiempos y espacios están cambiando y, como consecuencia de esto, también lo están haciendo las formas de habitarlos humanamente. Si bien es importante la reflexión filosófica y educativa en torno a los derechos humanos en general, más lo es aún en periodo de cambio e innovación. Este trabajo pretende mostrar dicha importancia centrándose en uno de los derechos humanos que más se ha visto alterado en la era digital, el derecho a la privacidad, el cual garantiza la protección de un espacio sin cuya posesión resulta imposible vivir una vida humanamente digna.

Today, with the advancement of new technologies and the internet, times and spaces are changing. The ways of inhabiting them humanely change as a consequence. Philosophical and educational thought about human rights is always important, but is even more so in periods of change and innovation. This paper intends to show the importance of a human right significantly altered by the digital era, the right to privacy. The right to privacy guarantees the protection of a space without which a life of human dignity would be impossible.
