Creatividad y personalidad en alumnos superdotados: un estudio comparativo entre superdotados y normales

Abstract

A través de esta investigación deseamos comprobar si existen diferencias entre el alumnado superdotado y los baremos de la población normal en algunos factores de actitudes creativas generales y de las tres dimensiones básicas de la personalidad. También queremos saber si existen diferencias en dichos factores entre las niñas y los niños superdotados y entre los diferentes grupos de superdotados según los ciclos educativos. La muestra de la investigación fue seleccionada al azar y según criterios previamente establecidos. El número total de alumnado fue de 200 (n=200). Niñas (n=41); niños (n=159). Las edades de la muestra del alumnado oscilan desde los 6 hasta los 16 años.

The basis of this research is to evaluate if there are differences between ‘gifted’ students and ‘mainstream’ students in relation to some personality factors and creative attitudes. Additionally to identify if there are variants on these factors between gifted boys and girls according to their educational cycles. Analysis of the results from my research with gifted students will be compared with data of scores within the parameters of creativity and personality, which was previously available from the general population of mainstream students. The sample was selected at random and according to previously established criteria. The total number of children was 200, ranging in age from 6 to 16 years old, (n=200), Boys (n=159), Girls (n=41). Based on the research results there are demonstrable differences related to creative attitudes. Furthermore, greater emotional stability in gifted students is affirmed by the research. Primary students get better results in creative attitudes than high school students.
