| dc.description.abstract | Light inherently possesses structure. In recent years there has been significant research progress that has allowed an increased spatio-temporal control of light, including its intensity and phase (wavefront) distributions and its polarization. The technical mastery achieved in structuring light beams is clear, either using holographic techniques or similar. This has facilitated the proliferation of a huge variety of structured beams, both scalar and vector, for monochromatic laser beams and ultrashort laser pulses. En los últimos años ha habido avances significativos que han permitido aumentar el control espacial y temporal de la luz, que incluye su distribución de intensidad y fase (frentes de onda), así como su polarización. La maestría técnica alcanzada a la hora de estructurar haces de luz es evidente, ya sea utilizando técnicas holográficas o similares, lo que ha propiciado la proliferación de una gran variedad de tipos de haces estructurados escalares o vectoriales tanto para luz láser monocromática como pulsada.
