Visibilidad y tratamiento periodístico del divorcio en la prensa iraní

Abstract

Esta investigación consiste en un análisis del tratamiento informativo del divorcio en dos de los principales periódicos iraníes de ámbito nacional: Kayhan, representante de los sectores conservadores e integristas; y Shargh, portavoz de los reformistas. Los objetivos de este trabajo son, por un lado, analizar las perspectivas en torno al divorcio en cada uno de estos periódicos, teniendo en cuenta que representan líneas editoriales diferenciadas; y, por otro, describir las estrategias utilizadas por ambos diarios para influenciar en la opinión pública.La investigación muestra, asimismo, el surgimiento en Irán de un debate en torno al divorcio y sus aspectos sociopolítico, cultural y religioso, como consecuencia de la evolución social que el país está experimentando. Dicho debate ha promovido el cuestionamiento de otros aspectos relacionados con el matrimonio y el divorcio, como el matrimonio infantil o la desigualdad de las condiciones para la mujer...This study consists of an analysis of the informational treatment of divorce in two of the main Iranian national newspapers: Kayhan, representative of the conservative and fundamentalist sectors; and Shargh, a news media belonged to the reformists.The objectives of this work are, on the one hand, to analyze the perspectives around the concept of divorce in each of these newspapers, taking into account that they represent different editorial lines; and, on the other, describing the strategies used by both newspapers to influence public opinion.The research also shows the emergence of a debate in Iran around divorce and its socio-political, cultural and religious aspects, as a consequence of the social evolution that the country is experiencing.
