Abstract
This qualitative research takes the form of autoethnography. With the construction of a narrative-artistic story situated in the experience of curricular practices with vulnerable minors, it seeks to explore in depth the concept of "gaze". From its analysis, themes emerge that have to do with the discipline of Art Therapy and art therapeutic accompaniment (the gaze towards the other); the self-reflective and self-critical process of the researcher from the role of observer, co-artetherapist and art therapist (the gaze towards oneself); and the creation of knowledge among professionals (the joint gaze). The results that emerge from the analysis of the subjective experience of the researcher are complemented with the results of two focus groups, one formed by teachers of the Master's degree and the other by trainee students, who also investigate the gaze and generate knowledge from the photo-elicitation and artistic creation. The triangulation of the findings and the subsequent discussion show, among other things, that when the word "gaze" is used in Art Therapy, much more is being said than is apparent.
