Abstract
The Optimal proposal consists of a web application aimed at optimising shopping lists by comparing prices in different supermarkets, based on the cost of the products and the supermarkets selected by the user. Today, given the wide variety of supermarket chains, high prices, offers and product demands, users need to decide which supermarket to go to and where they will find the product they want at the best price. The main problem is that comparing prices manually is difficult, because users would have to physically go to each supermarket or compare prices on each website. So, after an exhaustive search and comparison, they would end up buying it at the cheapest supermarket. For one product, this task is relatively simple, but with a list of products, it becomes a very repetitive task and, in the end, they would end up choosing to go to the nearest supermarket, without really achieving their goal: to save money in the purchasing process. Finally, it would be a tool for the user that would facilitate the purchasing process, creating a satisfactory experience for buyers.
