Traducción y colección editorial: clásicos grecolatinos en colecciones generales españolas (1870-1936)

Abstract

La colección editorial se propone como una instancia que ayuda a organizar el estudio de las traducciones al español en el período 1870-1936. Se estudia un corpus formado por las traducciones de autores griegos y latinos incluidos en cinco colecciones españolas de este período. Este enfoque ayuda a comprender la difusión editorial de las obras griegas y latinas en España en estos años, principalmente en contextos no educativos.The editorial collection is proposed as an instance that helps organize the study of Spanish translations in the period 1870-1936. A corpus formed by the translations of Greek and Latin authors included in five Spanish collections from this period is here studied. This approach helps understand the editorial diffusion of Greek and Latin works in Spain in these years, mainly in non-educational contexts
