Aproximación al espacio urbano de Praga en la literatura

Abstract

La presente tesis doctoral se enfrenta a la imagen de la ciudad de Praga desde la perspectiva de la aproximación a su espacio urbano con el fin de analizar su reflejo en la literatura. Para la realización de este estudio, la tesis se dota de un corpus de lecturas de autores muy diversos y, en general, poco conocidos, con el fin de dar conocer otras visiones, percepciones y realidades de una ciudad que ha inspirado a muchos autores a dedicarle sus páginas. El tema de la ciudad en la literatura es uno de los más interdisciplinares, con lo cual, el enfoque multidisciplinar que se ha aplicado a la presente investigación permite hablar sobre la ciudad no solo desde el punto de vista literario, sino también desde la perspectiva histórica, lingüística y sociocultural que forman parte constituyente de la ciudad como tal. El estudio parte desde el conocimiento general sobre Praga, sus acontecimientos históricos más relevantes y la creación de la imagen real de la ciudad, para poder compararla con la imagen de la ciudad como fruto de ficción. Al comenzar la investigación sobre la imagen de la ciudad de Praga, la cuestión de la identidad sirve como método de identificación cultural en cuyos aspectos profundiza el estudio, en la medida justa para dar una idea sobre el carácter identitario en un contexto pluricultural que domina todo el panorama de la historia de Bohemia...The present research deals with the image of the city of Prague from the perspective of the approach to its urban space in order to analyze its reflection in literature. For the realization of this study, the investigation had been provided with a corpus of readings of very diverse authors and, in general, little known ones, in order to make known other visions, perceptions and realities of the city that has inspired a great number of the authors to dedicate their pages to it. The subject of the city in literature is one of the most interdisciplinary ones, in which the multidisciplinary approach that has been applied to this research, allows us to talk about the city not only from the literary point of view, but also from the historical, linguistic and sociocultural perspective that are considered to be a constituent part of the city as such. The study starts from the general knowledge about Prague, its most relevant historical events and from the creation of the real image of the city, to be able to compare it with the image of the city as the result of fiction. At the beginning of the research on the Prague´s image, the question of identity serves as a method of the cultural identification whose aspects the study deepens in, at the sufficient rate to be able to give an idea about the identity character in a multicultural context that dominates the entire panorama of the history of Bohemia...
