Abstract
This article analyzes the acts of political violence against cinemas that occurred in Spain between 1966 and 1992 and, in particular, during the period of greatest intensity of these attacks against cultural activities: the late Franco regime and the Transition to democracy. For this study, both hemerographic and bibliographic sources have been used, as well as archival collections, in order to create a database that catalogs all these attacks against exhibition venues for political purposes.
