Abstract
In this Master's Project, and on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, we propose a didactic resource of our own elaboration to work on these contents in the 4th year of CSE. The proposal, titled World War II: Choose your story, will take the format of a visual novel (a type of video game already used in other initiatives) and will use historical sources to set a fictional second-person narration while maintaining historical rigor. In this resource, the student determines through decisions how the game will evolve and what end it will reach. Thus, through meaningful learning, historical empathy will be developed that will allow them to understand the past in a deeper way, fostering critical and reflective thinking that helps them understand the relationships of the past with the present and face the current reality.
