El Quijote como personaje según Cajal

Abstract

En 1905 Don Santiago Ramón y Cajal leyó un discurso titulado Psicología del Quijote y el quijotismo. En su discurso pretende hacer un análisis sobre las similitudes entre las figuras de Cervantes y el Quijote. Al mismo tiempo reflexiona sobre la situación de la ciencia española y lo que se entiende por quijotismo. Nosotros pensamos que también entre Cajal y Don Quijote existen gran número de coincidencias en cuanto a idealismo y espíritu de trabajo.In 1905 Don Santiago Ramón y Cajal read a speech titled “Psychology of Don Quijote and quijotism”. In his speech sought to an analysis of the similarities between the figures of Cervantes and Don Quijote. At the same time, he reflects on the situation of the spanish science and what is meant by quijotism. We think that also between Cajal and Don Quijote there are great number of coincidences in terms of idealism and spirit of work.
