Abstract
Esta investigación titulada El "cuidado sí" desde la ética del psicoanálisis, presenta una reflexión sobre el concepto del "cuidado de sí" a través de una revisión histórica, aunque no exhaustiva del concepto, ubicando su estatuto como antecedente cultural de las tendencias y prácticas actuales de salud y bienestar. Pensar el psicoanálisis como una práctica más que ofrece la cultura en relación al trabajo de sí mismo, invita a convocar la reflexión desde su ética; para poder situar los puntos de distinción de las demás prácticas de sí y la relevancia de apostar por la vida del psicoanálisis. El análisis se acompaña de una descripción del contexto social y político de la época actual en relación al malestar que produce y a las vías de tratamiento que promueve, permitiendo situar sus consecuencias a nivel de las subjetividades que habitan las sociedades. Donde, un análisis ético resulta fundamental para poder tomar una decisión sobre qué tratamiento elegir ante un padecimiento subjetivo, en una época donde el exceso de información y conocimiento al alcance de la mano hace que en el afán de saber no se cuestione el mismo, y se acceda a prácticas que no son cónsonas con ciertos valores personales, pero que en nombre de una moda basada en una supuesta eficacia, hace que se acceda con graves consecuencias a posteriori...
This research entitled "Care of the self" from the ethics of psychoanalysis presents a reflection on the concept of "self-care" through a historical review, although not exhaustive of the concept, establishing its status as a cultural background of trends and current practices of health and well-being. To think of psychoanalysis as another practice offered by the culture related to the work of one-self, invites to call the reflection from its ethics; to be able to identify the points of distinction of other practices of the self and the relevance of betting on the life of psychoanalysis. The analysis is accompanied by a description of the social and political context of the present time in relation to the discomfort that it produces and the alternatives of treatment that it promotes. This allows, to place its consequences at the level of the subjectivities that inhabit the societies. Where, an ethical analysis is fundamental to be able to make a decision on which treatment to choose when facing a subjective suffering, in an era where the excess of information and knowledge at hand promotes in the eagerness to know, not to question them. In consequence, to reach to practices that are not consistent with certain personal values, but in the name of a fashion based on a supposed efficacy, accessing them with posteriori serious consequences...
