Hollywood y el mundo de las finanzas a través de la representación de su protagonista en la época del cine sonoro(1934-2016)

Abstract

El cine de ficción de Hollywood ha producido una serie de filmes en torno a las cuatro grandes crisis bursátiles acontecidas desde principios del siglo XX, filmes que guardan las claves sociológicas que reflejan, e incluso anticipan, esas crisis; unas claves que no se limitan al argumento de los textos cinematográficos, en tanto que los penetran en cada uno de sus aspectos. El objetivo de esta tesis es desvelar tales claves a través de la representación que hacen esos filmes del mundo de las finanzas.Hollywood fiction cinema has produced a series of films around the four big stock market crises that have occurred since the beginning of the 20th century, films that keep the sociological keys which reflect, and even anticípate, those crises; keys that are not limited to the argument of these cinematographic texts, insofar as they penetrate them in each of their aspects. The objective of this thesis is to unveil such keys through the representation of the world of finances that these films make.
