Retórica del mito y variedad narrativa en "El arte de amar" ovidiano : algunos ejemplos

Abstract

A través de tres mitos presentes en Ars Amatoria se pretende demostrar la calidad didáctica que Ovidio transmitía en sus textos. Del mismo modo, el poeta recurre a la retórica para presentar la unión del mito con el amor. Ovidio empleaba los mitos para adoctrinar a sus discípulos en las artes amatorias, los ejemplos aquí analizados son muestra tanto de lo anterior como de la habilidad que tenía el poeta para utilizar los recursos estilísticos de la retórica.

Through three of the myths in Ars Amatoria Ovid´s didactic capacity is attempted to be shown. In the same way the poet uses rhetoric to show the union of myth and love. Ovid employed myths to indoctrinate his disciples in the amatory arts, the following examples show both this and the poets ability to use the stylistic resources in rhetoric.
