Inscripción medieval en la ermita de la Virgen del Vallejo (Alcozar, Soria)

Abstract

En este artículo se dan a conocer dos inscripciones grabadas en sendos cimacios de una ventana de la ermita de la Virgen del Vallejo (Alcozar, Soria) que pueden fecharse en el siglo XII y que transmiten respectivamente, el nombre del santo a cuya advocación estaba previsiblemente dedicada la ermita, y el nombre del posible dedicante o patrocinador.This article presents two inscriptions engraved on two impost blocks of the church of the Virgen del Vallejo (Alcozar, Soria) which can be dated to the 12th century and which convey, respectively, the name of the saint to whose dedication the chapel was probably dedicated and the name of the possible dedicator or sponsor.
