Hacia una teoría del cuento de humor negro: los cuentos de humor negro argentinos y uruguayos de las décadas treinta, cuarenta y cincuenta

Abstract

La presente disertación tiene como objetivo desvelar las fundamentaciones estéticas, retóricas y filosóficas de la modalidad del humor negro en el género cuento y configurar una taxonomía en función a dichos fundamentos, así como realizar una selección de las obras cuentísticas argentinas y uruguayas erigidas sobre este modo de representación durante las décadas treinta, cuarenta y cincuenta, las cuales se verán analizadas en función a las conclusiones derivadas del primer objetivo de esta disertación.Comprenderemos aquí el humor negro como una modalidad fundamentada sobre los cimientos del modus del humorismo, definido a principios del siglo XX por el autor y crítico Luigi Pirandello, que acoge una serie de características distintivas con respecto a tal arquetipo basadas en representaciones estéticas de lo feo repugnante que servirán de base a la obra cuentística para desarrollar su temática y su crítica axiológica sobre el individuo contemporáneo, así como presentar su crisis existencial. A la vez, se señalará de qué manera intervienen los mecanismos cómicos, lo grotesco y el absurdo en la obra de humor negro en cuanto a las reacciones anímicas que suscita, a la configuración de los personajes y del cosmos literario en general...

The purpose of this dissertation is to reveal the aesthetic, rhetorical and philosophical foundations of the mode of black humor in the genre story and configure a taxonomy based on these foundations, as well as make a selection of the Argentine and Uruguayan short stories erected on this mode of representation during the thirties, forties and fifties, which will be analyzed according to the conclusions derived from the first objective of this dissertation.
