Ciudades imaginadas. El espacio urbano en la poesía argentina de los siglos XX y XXI

Abstract

La presente investigación Ciudades imaginadas. El espacio urbano en la poesía argentina de los siglos XX y XXI pretende estudiar el motivo de la ciudad en la poesía argentina de los últimos siglos, atendiendo a tres ejes fundamentales: la perspectiva sociológica, el universo de la intimidad y la proyección mítica.Dividida en dos capítulos, el primero analiza una muestra de poetas del siglo XX que han poetizado la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Este está estructurado asimismo de acuerdo a las tres ópticas mencionadas: la que estudia la poesía con perspectiva social comienza con Leopoldo Lugones como representante de la poesía urbana bonaerense de principios de siglo, y a continuación se recoge la de otros autores –Baldomero Fernández Moreno, Oliverio Girondo, Mario Jorge de Lellis, Humberto Costantini– hasta llegar a Fabián Casas como poeta de la ciudad de finales de siglo. Todos ellos entienden la ciudad como un espacio social, de encuentro entre individuos. En el siguiente apartado, respecto a las poéticas de la intimidad, se pretende indagar en la relación entre la poesía intimista y la figura de la mujer poeta, analizando la obra de Alfonsina Storni y Norah Lange. Por último, la tercera parte de este primer capítulo está dedicada al estudio del mito de Buenos Aires a través de la obra poética de Jorge Luis Borges y Julio Cortázar...

The current research Ciudades imaginadas. El espacio urbano en la poesía argentina de los siglos XX y XXI intends to study the topic of the city in the Argentinean poetry of the latest centuries, attending to three fundamental axes: the sociological perspective, the universe of the privacy and the mythical projection.Divided in two chapters, the first one analyzes a selection of 20th-century poets that have poetized Buenos Aires city. This chapter is structured according to the three mentioned optics: the one that studies poetry with social perspective begins with Leopoldo Lugones as main figure of Buenos Aires urban poetry in the beginning of century, and then we will proceed to study the work of other authors –Baldomero Fernández Moreno, Oliverio Girondo, Mario Jorge de Lellis, Humberto Costantini– and finalizing with the poet Fabián Casas as a sample of the last urban poetry of the century. All of them perceive the city as a social environment, in which the individuals encounter between them. In the following section about the poetics of the privacy, we will intend to analyze the relation between the privacy and the figure of the female poet, focusing on the work of Alfonsina Storni and Norah Lange. Finally, the third part of this first chapter is dedicated to the study of the myth of Buenos Aires city through the poetic work of Jorge Luis Borges and Julio Cortázar...
