Abstract
La incidencia de trombosis venosa esplácnica (TVE) en el paciente con cáncer ha aumentado en los últimos años como consecuencia de una mayor supervivencia y generalización de pruebas radiológicas de control en estos pacientes. Sin embargo, aún hay escasa bibliografía que describa la repercusión clínica real de la TVE al diagnóstico, su pronóstico a largo plazo y el beneficio del tratamiento anticoagulante. Material y métodos: Se trató de un estudio observacional retrospectivo a partir de una cohorte de pacientes consecutivos hospitalizados entre 2015-2020 y que hubieran presentado historia de TVE asociada al cáncer previamente o durante el ingreso.
