María Elvira Lacaci o el combate de la fe

Abstract

RESUMEN: María Elvira Lacaci fue una poeta española galardonada y antologada. Dos de sus tres poemarios recibieron premios nacionales. Los temas que vertebran su poesía son la relación con Dios y la preocupación social. Fue una de las voces poéticas religiosas más auténticas del siglo XX español. No hay estudios que aborden su poesía completa, aún sin publicar. Este trabajo pretende iniciar un proceso de investigación sistemática de su poesía religiosa, para lo cual se caracterizan sus poemas publicados en antologías de tema religioso. En esta aproximación surge una escritora ascética, que combate por su fe, y mística, que recibe mensajes divinos sin espectáculo, en medio de la calle y de los afanes de su vida cotidiana.

ABSTRACT: María Elvira Lacaci was an award-winning and anthologized Spanish poet. Two of her three poetry collections received national awards. The themes that underpin her poetry are the relationship with God and social concerns. She was one of the most authentic religious poetic voices of 20th century Spain. There are no studies that address her complete, still unpublished poetry. This work aims to start a systematic study of her religious poetry. For this purpose, her poems published in anthologies on religious themes are characterized in this paper. This approach reveals an ascetic writer that battles for her faith, and a mystic who receives divine messages without spectacle, in the middle of the street and in the hustle and bustle of daily life.
