Técnicas interpretativas de la literatura rabínica. Revisión crítica desde la hermenéutica contemporánea

Abstract

Esta tesis doctoral se ocupa del margen desatendido entre la filosofía y la filología, en concreto, entre la hermenéutica filosófica y la tarea filológica de trato con los textos. Investiga la posibilidad de una aplicación sistemática de los avances teóricos de la hermenéutica filosófica en un estudio filológico concreto, y analiza los resultados de dicha aplicación. El estudio filológico de la interpretación rabínica a través de sus técnicas interpretativas es el caso concreto que vertebra la investigación. Parto de la construcción de un marco teórico-crítico desde la hermenéutica filosófica, en concreto desde la obra de Hans Georg Gadamer y la teoría del texto de Paul Ricoeur. Desde este marco teóricocrítico, combinado con un análisis del estado de la cuestión en los estudios rabínicos, destaco los elementos hermenéuticamente relevantes de la situación interpretativa rabínica como paso previo al estudio de caso: el análisis de las técnicas interpretativas utilizadas en la sección Berešit del midrás Génesis Rabbah. Los datos extraídos del estudio de caso sirven como base para la elaboración de una clasificación nueva de las técnicas interpretativas rabínicas desde la perspectiva que ofrece la aplicación del marco teórico-crítico...This dissertation is concerned with the margin between Philosophy and Philology̶ usually neglected ̶ , specifically between Philosophical Hermeneutics and the philological task of dealing with texts. The research focuses on the possibility of a systematic application of the theoretical advances reached by Philosophical Hermeneutics in a concrete philological study, and analyzes the results of such an application. The philological study of rabbinic interpretation through its interpretive techniques is the concrete case that vertebrates the research. The starting point is the construction of a theoretical-critical framework from Philosophical Hermeneutics, based on the work of Hans Georg Gadamer and the theory of text of Paul Ricoeur. From this theoretical-critical framework, combined with an analysis of the status question is in rabbinic studies, the hermeneutically relevant elements of the rabbinic interpretive situation are highlighted, as a preliminary step to the case study: the analysis of the interpretive techniques used in the Berešit section of the midrash Genesis Rabbah.
