Abstract
The break of the housing bubble in Spain has been a severe shock to our country. The slowdown of the Spanish economy shows and is a consequence of the increase in unemployment, indebtedness and lack of activity and credit. The household debt has been especially important, triggering more dramatic face of this crisis in the form of evictions. This has become not only in a news, but also political and legislatives concerns. Therefore, we deem it necessary to emphasize the key players suffering from this situation, people evicted. It is they who have been most affected by the financial and economic turmoil, but we do not know their traits, characteristics, if they are a homogenous population group or not, what we might suggest about the ability of permeation of the economic crisis in the social strata and how to approach and speak on this issue.
