La renta disponible de los inmigrantes en España (1993-2014)

Abstract

En este trabajo se examina la evolución de la renta disponible de los inmigrantes en España durante el último ciclo económico, considerando la renta media, la desigualdad y la distribución de los inmigrantes en clases fijas de renta. Luego se compara esta evolución con la de los nativos y se comprueba que las distancias aumentaron hasta la llegada de la crisis y se mantuvieron después. Por último, se propone una explicación en términos de intensidad de la inmigración.In this paper, the evolution of the disposable income of immigrants in Spain is analysed over the last economic cycle, taking into consideration the average income, inequality and the distribution of immigrants in fixed income classes. Then this evolution is compared with that of the national population, and finds that the gaps increased until the crisis arrived and were subsequently maintained. Finally, an explanation in terms of the intensity of the immigration is proposed.
