Abstract
The main objective of this thesis is the systematic study of the incorporation of halogens (Cl, F) within the anionic sublattice of complex transition metal oxides (Mn, Fe,Ni) with different structures: perovskite type BaFeO3-δXx (X = Cl), K2NiF4 type La2NiO4+δFx and Sr5(MnO4)3(OH)1-xFx with apatite structure. To achieve this purpose, new materials have been prepared from the halogenation of oxides or oxyhydroxides as precursors, and metal chlorides and fluorinated organic polymers as halogenating agents. All the products obtained have been subjected to compositional, structural and microstructural characterisation, as well as to the study of their physical properties...
