Apuntes sobre la cerámica bajomedieval en verde y manganeso en el área central de la Corona de Castilla

Abstract

En este trabajo se analiza una serie de testimonios de cerámica bajomedieval castellana con decoración en "verde y manganeso", procedente principalmente Madrid y Alcalá de Henares. Hasta el momento, dicha producción castellana había sido poco tratada por la investigación, sobre todo si se la compara con la similar de la Corona de Aragón. Acerca de la decoración, hay dos estilos diferentes: el primero más geométrico o abigarrado, dependiendo del lugar de producción; y el segundo, de estilo naturalista. La cronología de esta producción se sitúa entre la 2ª mitad del siglo XIV y mediados del siglo XV. ------------------ [ABSTRACT] The subject of this paper is a collection of pottery decorated in "verde y manganeso", works by potters of the Crown of Castile, found in the cities of Madrid and Alcalá de Henares. At the moment, this wares of Castile have scarce diffusion in the publications, in contrast to the similar wares from de Crown of Aragón. The decoration is made on dish or bowl without formal variety. About the decoration there are two different styles: the first geometric more or less variegated depending on the place of production, and the second of naturalistic style. The chronology of this production is included between the second half of the 14th century and the middle of the 15th century
