Abstract
Apresenta uma reflexão acerca do papel das comunidades virtuais enquanto locus responsável por congregar torcedores de futebol no contexto virtual. Enfoca o futebol como um fator sociocultural e socioeconômico, cuja compreensão se faz necessária para a avaliação do comportamento dos torcedores. Analisa o uso das comunidades virtuais e os reflexos junto aos torcedores de futebol, no intuito de compreender o papel dessas comunidades enquanto extensão da violência em embates agendados. Nessa perspectiva, monitorar a informação compartilhada nesse tipo de comunidade virtual é essencial para propor maneiras de conter a violência gerada por esse tipo de compartilhamento de informação, demonstrando que é atualmente um desafio para a segurança pública de cidades, estados e países.
Presents a reflection concerning the role of virtual communities as locus responsible for congregate soccer fans in the virtual context. Focuses on soccer as sociocultural and socioeconomic factors, whose comprehension is necessary to evaluate the behavior of the fans. Analyzes the use of virtual communities and reflections together with the soccer fans in order to understand the role of these communities as an extension of violence at scheduled clashes. In this perspective, monitor the information shared in this kind virtual community is essential to propose ways to stop the violence generated by this kind information sharing, demonstrating that it is currently a challenge to public security cities, states and countries.
