La ingeniería y la matemática se han retroalimentado desde sus inicios. La ingeniería como la aplicación del conocimiento científico a la invención práctica y la matemática como el conocimiento científico en sí mismo. Este artículo se sitúa en el germen del desarrollo de la física-matemática como herramienta clave en la ingeniería, a través del problema de la cuerda vibrante, con un final envuelto en “armonías”.Engineering and mathematics have been fed back since its inception.
