Abstract

Este artículo examina la trayectoria de la editorial y taller de obra gráfica original Benveniste Contemporary, con especial atención a los proyectos más significativos desarrollados a lo largo de los últimos veinticinco años y a los tres ejes fundamentales que estructuran su modelo de negocio. Asimismo, se contextualiza la relevancia de Benveniste Contemporary en el ámbito de la gráfica internacional y se analizan algunas de las colaboraciones establecidas durante este periodo con artistas como Doris Salcedo, Michel Pérez Pollo, Carlos Garaicoa y Ángela de la Cruz, junto con el proyecto de edición de carpetas de obra original The Print Subscribers Club, iniciado en 1999 y con motivo de cuyo vigésimo quinto aniversario se realizaron recientemente diversas celebraciones.This article examines the trajectory of the publishing and original printmaking workshop Benveniste Contemporary, with particular emphasis on the most significant projects developed over the past twenty-five years and on the three fundamental axes that structure its business model. It also contextualizes the relevance of Benveniste Contemporary within the international printmaking scene and analyses some of the collaborations established during this period with artists such as Doris Salcedo, Michel Pérez Pollo, Carlos Garaicoa, and Ángela de la Cruz, together with the editorial project of original print portfolios The Print Subscribers Club, launched in 1999 and recently celebrated on the occasion of its twenty-fifth anniversary.
