| dc.description | This paper seeks to shed light on the conceptualization of game aesthetics from a poietic approach within the Game Studies field. As theoretical context two major research currents that determine game aesthetics are isolated and defined. The work expands previous aesthetics definitions and presents different cases of study related to paradoxes, dissonances and surprises resulting from the multimodality of the aesthetics of this emergent cultural and artistic medium. | |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo busca arrojar luz sobre la formación de la idea de Estética de Juegos, desde un enfoque poiético y al amparo de la disciplina de Estudio de Juegos. Como propuesta teórica se aíslan y definen dos acercamientos mayoritarios que determinan la estética de juego, se profundiza sobre propuestas anteriores de la definición de estética en este campo y se presentan diferentes casos de estudio relacionados con paradojas, disonancias y sorpresas resultado de la multimodalidad de la estética de este medio artístico. | |
