Abstract
Esta tesis doctoral analiza la estrategia comunicativa del movimiento Les Soulèvements de la Terre a través del estudio de su actividad en plataformas digitales. El movimiento, surgido en Francia en 2021, ha ganado visibilidad internacional por sus acciones directas contra megaproyectos agroindustriales y su capacidad de movilización. Esta investigación parte de un interés por comprender cómo los movimientos sociales construyen marcos discursivos en el ecosistema digital y cómo activan emociones, identidades y alianzas en un contexto marcado por la crisis climática. El objetivo principal fue explorar cómo Les Soulèvements de la Terre utilizó las cuentas oficiales del movimiento en Twitter/X, Instagram y Facebook para construir marcos interpretativos, movilizar apoyos y generar resonancia frente a eventos clave como la disolución del colectivo o la protesta de Sainte-Soline. El periodo de análisis abarca desde la creación de sus perfiles hasta el 31 de octubre de 2024. This doctoral thesis analyses the communicative strategy of the Les Soulèvements de la Terre movement through the study of its activity on digital platforms. The movement, which emerged in France in 2021, has gained international visibility for its direct actions against agro-industrial megaprojects and its capacity for mobilisation. This research stems from an interest in understanding how social movements construct discursive frameworks in the digital ecosystem and how they activate emotions, identities and alliances in a context marked by the climate crisis. The main objective was to explore how Les Soulèvements de la Terre used the movement's official accounts on Twitter/X, Instagram and Facebook to construct interpretative frames, mobilise support and generate resonance in the face of key events such as the dissolution of the collective or the Sainte-Soline protest. The period of analysis runs from the creation of their profiles until 31 October 2024. This time frame allows us to observe the evolution of the discourse in relation to milestones of high media and political visibility...
