Creación de un repositorio Web: Memoria Visual del Siglo XX

Abstract

Se crea una aplicación web para recopilar documentos que forman parte de la memoria colectiva del Siglo XX. En cualquier película, canción o biblioteca podemos encontrar obras o aspectos que reflejan en mayor o menor medida la cultura o la sociedad de una determinada época. La aplicación debe permitir a los usuarios compartir y difundir documentos del Siglo XX (fotografías, cartas, diarios, …) cualquier documento que pueda ser relevante para una persona y quiera compartirlo. La colaboración de los usuarios es imprescindible ya que aportarán el material a la colección, catalogando y describiendo los documentos. De esta manera se podrán establecer relaciones entre los documentos de la colección y exponerlos de una forma atractiva de manera que los usuarios puedan interactuar con los documentos publicados. Se pone en práctica el protocolo de interoperabilidad de metadatos que permite tanto importar como exportar documentos de otras instituciones, de esta manera el repositorio deberá servir de recolector y de servidor.A web application is created to collect documents that are part of the collective memory of the 20th Century. In any film, song or library we can find works or aspects that reflect the culture or society of a certain period. The application must allow users to share and disseminate documents of the twentieth century (photographs, letters, diaries, ...) any document that may be relevant to a person and want to share it. The collaboration of the users is essential since they will contribute the material to the collection, cataloguing and describing the documents. In this way you can establish relationships between the documents of the collection and expose them in an attractive way so that users can interact with the published documents. It implements the metadata interoperability protocol that allows both import and export documents from other institutions, in this way the repository should serve as a collector and server.
