Abstract
El desarrollo de Mindfulness desde los ámbitos de investigación universitaria y de la salud en América del Norte ha permitido usar estas técnicas para la mejora del bienestar de las personas. Partiendo de la experiencia personal, incorporar en la práctica profesional del Trabajo Social el desarrollo de Mindfulness aporta un nuevo espacio para trabajar a favor del bienestar. Los objetivos de este estudio ha sido visibilizar las aportaciones y beneficios del Mindfulness en Trabajo Social, así como las intervenciones que se están realizando con Mindfulness en la disciplina; y analizar la divulgación que está teniendo en la Facultad de Trabajo Social de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Y para ello, se ha utilizado la metodología mixta, mediante las técnicas de encuesta y entrevista. Los resultados obtenidos pusieron de manifiesto que: primero, el Mindfulness se está introduciendo muy lentamente en la Facultad de Trabajo Social de la Universidad Complutense, mediante la docencia en el Grado y los cursos que ofrece la universidad. Y segundo, actualmente la práctica habitual del Mindfulness no está extendida entre el estudiantado aunque recurren a las técnicas en momentos puntuales.
The Mindfulness development from the field of university research and health in North America has allowed using these techniques to improve the people’s welfare. Starting from personal experience, incorporating the development of Mindfulness into professional Social Work practice provides a new space to work for the welfare. The objective of the study was to make visible the contributions and benefits of Mindfulness in Social Work, and the interventions that are being made in the discipline with Mindfulness. Also, analyzing and the disclosure theat it is having on the Faculty of Social Work at the Complutense University of Madrid. And for that, it has been used mixed methodology, using the techniques of survey and interview. The results showed that: firstly, Mindfulness is being introduced slowly at the Faculty of Social Work at the Complutense University, through teaching in the Degree and courses offered by the university. Second, currently the standard practice of Mindfulness is not widespread among the students turn to Mindfulness although at times.
