La Ciencia Veterinaria en los fondos documentales del Siglo XVIII en la Real Academia Nacional de Medicina

Abstract

La ciencia veterinaria y la medicina humana han estado íntimamente ligadas para la aplicación y mejora de sus métodos, las sinergias entre sus profesionales, y la formación de sus profesionales. A través de los fondos existentes en la Real Academia Nacional de Medicina se hace un estudio de las principales ocupaciones que tuvo la medicina sobre la veterinaria en sus primeros años de su fundación en España, como fueron la censura de obres veterinarias, la aplicación de la epidemiología y el control y tratamiento de alimentos tanto para su consumo humano como animal.

The veterinary science and the human medicine have been intimately bound for the application and improvement of their methods, the synergies among their professionals, and the formation of their students. Across the existing file collections in the Real National Academy of Medicine a general study is carried about the main occupations that the medicine had on the veterinary medicine in the first years of the foundation of the veterinary school, how were the censorship of veterinarian bibliography, the application of the epidemiology, and the treatment and control of foods for human or animal consumption.
