Abstract
Landslides are an important trouble in the Bolivian Interandean valleys. This study analyzes the landslide susceptibility in the Guanay, Teoponte and Tipuani municipalities, located in La Paz departamento of Bolivia. The applied methodology was the Analityc Hierarchy/Network Process, also called AHP method. After it is runned in a Geographic INformation System, this method returns very reliable values of susceptibility. Conclusions derived from this analysis hghlight the need for a more detailed study in some areas of these municipalalities where the susceptiblity reaches High and Very Hgh values, and where there are populated areas and man elements such as Highways and roads that are important for the social articulation of the region.
