La música de la carta de ajuste: una isla de libertad (1966-1975)

Abstract

El artículo analiza la música que acompañó a la Carta de ajuste de la Segunda Cadena desde 1966 a 1975, época en la que la televisión gozaba de gran popularidad y Televisión Española (TVE) vivió su momento de mayor esplendor. Primero se clasifican las relaciones entre música y televisión; presentando después cómo funcionaba el servicio de Ambientación Musical de TVE, su forma de programar y los cambios que se produjeron tanto en este servicio como en su cúpula política. Este análisis se realiza a través del estudio de los contenidos musicales de más de tres mil programas Carta de ajuste, analizando tanto la evolución de los géneros musicales que se emitían como el influjo que en ellos tuvo la censura.The article analyzes the music that went with the Test Pattern of Segunda Cadena from 1966 to 1975, period of time in which television was rather popular, particularly Televisión Española (TVE), which had its best ages by then. Firstly, relationships between music and television are classified, afterwords there is a presentation of how the service of Musical Setting of TVE, its way of programming and the changes that were produced in this service and its political upper echelon. This analysis is done studying the musical contents of more than three thousand programs of the Test Pattern, analyzing both the evolution of the music genre that was emitted and the influence censure had on them.
