Las interacciones virtuales con las amistades

Abstract

En “Las Interacciones virtuales con las amistades” se analizan resultados de una encuesta representativa a nivel nacional de internautas españoles. Forma parte de una investigación I+D+I orientada al análisis de los usos sociales de la virtualización. Se examinan datos de 2800 internautas de entre 16 y 74 años y se describen los rasgos de quienes comunican a través de servicios online con sus amistades. El objetivo es explicar cómo están configuradas las interdependencias de los factores que determinan esa clase de comunicaciones. Se aborda el tema de la privacidad durante el desarrollo de las interacciones virtuales y se analiza la valoración que los internautas les otorgan. Entre los resultados a destacar figura el hecho de que algunos de los factores más notorios que inciden en la llamada brecha digital ya han desaparecido o se atenúan en las comunicaciones virtuales con amistades.

In the paper entitled “Virtual interactions with friends” it is analysed the results of a nationally representative survey of Spanish internet users. It is part of the R&DI project geared towards analysing the social uses of virtualization. It is examined data from 2800 internet users aged between 16 and 74 years old and it is described the features of those who communicate online with their friends. The goal is to explain how is the configuration of the interdependences between the factors that determine that kind of communications. The issue of privacy during the development of virtual interactions is covered as well as the importance and assessment the internet users give to them. Notable among the results is the fact that some of the most remarkable factors having an impact on the so-called “digital device” have now ceased or are narrowing in the virtual communication with friends.
