La primavera árabe y la iniciativa Palestina en Naciones Unidas.

Abstract

Los dirigentes palestinos han anunciado una iniciativa ante Naciones Unidas con miras a obtener el reconocimiento internacional del Estado palestino. Este paso, pretende romper un statu quo que les perjudica, y hacer frente a la imposibilidad de desarrollar negociaciones serias con el gobierno israelí y al continuo deterioro de la situación en los territorios ocupados. Cabe por lo tanto preguntarse qué ha llevado a esta situación, qué posibilidades reales de éxito tiene la iniciativa y qué escenarios se prevén para el día después.The Palestinian leaders has announced an initiative at the UN in order to get an international recognition of Palestinian state. This step aims to break the currently status quo, and the continuing deterioration of the situation in the occupied territories. The impossibility to carry out a serious peace negociation with Israel is one of the reason of this initiative. This paper explores the rootcauses of this conflict, the diferents outcomes that this initiative could bring and future scenarios
