Abstract
Los ADR o Sistemas Alternativos de Resolución de Conflictos han sido incorporados al ordenamiento jurídico de numerosos países. En España destacan esencialmente el arbitraje, la conciliación y la mediación. Esta última goza de especiales características en el ámbito del consumo, habiendo sido recientemente regulado en el Real Decreto 231/2008 de 15 de febrero sobre el Sistema Arbitral de Consumo.
ADR or Alternative Dispute Resolution have been already incorporatedinto the legal system of numerous countries. In Spain the arbitration, the conciliationand the mediation are the main ADR in place. Mediation enjoys special characteristicsin the area of the consumption, having been recently regulated in Royal Decree231/2008 of February 15 on the Arbitral System for Consumption
