La autonomía como forma de supervivencia de las mujeres en los países musulmanes ante los conflictos : identidad y visibilidad mediática

Abstract

El objeto de esta tesis es el análisis de la visibilidad de las iniciativas realizadas por mujeres de distintos países del mundo musulmán —Argelia, Túnez, Egipto, Arabia Saudí, Irak, Afganistán e Irán—. Para dicho análisis se consideran las condiciones socioculturales y el estado de los derechos de la mujer en cada uno de los países en los que se han seleccionado a diversas mujeres y sus iniciativas o proyectos para desarrollarse de una forma autónoma y poder alcanzar su propia definición e identidad. El trabajo distingue la lucha de las mujeres para lograr sacar a la luz sus iniciativas y los posteriores resultados en los medios, tanto locales como internacionales. Este factor es importante porque partimos de la idea de la necesidad de la difusión de sus logros para poder extender el sentido de la identidad femenina y la idea de que puede ser alcanzada por cada mujer en estos entornos casi siempre hostiles a su desarrollo personal y social. En la tesis no solo se ha recogido la información mediática sobre ellas, sino que se ha utilizado la entrevista personal como herramienta de profundización en los casos debido al silencio, la deformación, etc., que puede rodearlas en sus países. Esto nos ha permitido incluir una perspectiva mucho más directa sobre los casos contemplados en el trabajo de investigación, y es una materia esencial en la construcción de la tesis realizada..The object of this thesis is the analysis of the visibility of the initiatives carried out by women from different countries of the Muslim world —Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Iran—. For this analysis, the socio-cultural conditions and the status of women’s rights are considered in each of the countries in which various women and their initiatives or projects have been selected to develop autonomously and be able to achieve their own definition and identity.The work distinguishes the struggle of women to bring to light their initiatives and the subsequent results in the media, both local and international. This factor is important because we start from the idea of the need to publicize their achievements in order to extend the sense of female identity and the idea that it can be achieved by every woman in these environments that are almost always hostile to her personal and social development. In the thesis, not only has the media information about them been collected, but the personal interview has been used as a tool for deepening the cases due to silence, deformation, etc. that can surround them in their countries.
