Abstract
A continuación se analiza el grabado Trote Corto, que se encuentra en la Biblioteca Histórica Complutense “Marqués de Valdecilla”, en Madrid. Dicho grabado fue realizado por el grabador Juan Moreno de Tejada (1739-1805) y dibujado por Antonio Carnicero Mancio (1748-1814); artistas de cámara de Carlos IV que fueron comisionados para retratar al monarca y a su familia realizando ejercicios de equitación, para así ilustrar un tratado sobre esta misma disciplina
Will analyze the engraving Trote Corto which is in the Complutense Historical Library "Marqués de Valdecilla" in Madrid. This engraving was made by the engraver Juan Moreno de Tejada (1739-1805) based on a drawing by Antonio Carnicero Mancio (1748-1814). Both of them were artists in the court of Charles IV of Spain and were commissioned to make equestrian portraits of the king and his family to illustrate a treatise on horsemanship
