Abstract

This work explores the situation of women in the events and entertainment sector in Spain in relation to the inclusion of gender equality, sustainability and governance. The main inequalities and perceived barriers are investigated, the communication strategies used to identify alignment with gender equality are observed, with the verification of sustainability and governance. Qualitative methodology is used: digital ethnography, semi-structured interviews and analysis of empirical studies on the topic. The results make visible tensions and hybridizations in the application of regulations, as well as challenges for management systems.
