Abstract
From devastation to hope. A study of José Jiménez Lozano`s poetry is, as the title suggests, a work about the oeuvre of the Spanish poet José Jiménez Lozano, whose first publications began to appear in 1979, the year he won the annual poetic prize of El Ciervo magazine. Given the fact that this doctoral thesis is the first study which engages his poetic writing in its whole, the first goal is to find, organise and refer to the entire poetic work and the most significant critical contributions. Simultaneously, we will sketch the main lines of his aesthetic both in a synchronic and diachronic way...
