Abstract
Leonora Carrington (1917-2011) fue una artista vinculada al movimiento surrealista, cuya interesante obra se implementó con sus incursiones en el
diseño escénico, como en el montaje de Penélope (1960), donde se visualizaron no sólo aspectos relevantes de la semiótica de su particular
vocabulario creativo, sino además su concepción escenográfica, en la línea de las vanguardias europeas.
Description
Leonora Carrington (1917-2011) was an artist linked to the surrealist movement, whose interesting work was implemented with her incursions into stage design, as in the theater staging of Penelope (1960), where not only relevant aspects of the semiotics of her particular creative vocabulary were visualised, but also her scenographic conception, in line with the european avant-garde.
