La tesis “La evolución de los roles y mirada del espectador: una perspectiva identitaria desde el Renacimiento hasta la Posmodernidad” analiza la transformación histórica e identitaria del espectador de arte, entendido como sujeto estético y social que construye su identidad en relación con el artista, la obra y el contexto cultural. El estudio parte de la imprecisión en el uso de términos como público, visitante o usuario en los discursos museísticos, proponiendo una terminología compuesta sintagmática con guion (por ejemplo, espectador-creyente, espectador-visitante, espectador-digital, etc.) que exprese con rigor su atribución social, su dualidad de roles y sus miradas híbridas...
The thesis “The Evolution of the Roles and Gaze of the Spectator: An Identity Perspective from the Renaissance to Postmodernity” analyzes the historical and identity transformation of the art spectator, understood as an aesthetic and social subject who constructs their identity through a relational dialogue with the artist, the artwork, and the cultural context. The study arises from the imprecise use of generic terms such as public, visitor, or user in museum and art discourses, and proposes a hyphenated syntagmatic terminology (e.g., spectator-believer, spectator-visitor, spectator-digital) to accurately express the spectator’s social attribution, role duality, and hybrid gazes...
