Abstract
Day to day we face more and more payments of multiple types, made through different channels. The rise of online payments, the emergence of subscription-based services, and the expansion of digital financial products, are making people have to deal with a large number of banking transactions on a daily basis. At the same time, and hand in hand with the rest of society, the banking and financial sector has undergone a digital transformation in recent years focused on the availability of information and data. This has forced banking institutions to adapt their services to handle and expose this information in a more open way. This project focuses, firstly, on analyzing three technologies derived from said transformation, such as banking aggregators, email notifications, and the export of personal transactions to spreadsheets. Secondly, an analysis is carried out of the new needs of people in relation to personal expenses. Finally, the work developed leads to a solution that meets these new needs of people, thus freeing them from the tedious management tasks of accounting and expenses, so that they can fully enjoy the goods and services that they acquire in relation to said expenses. The resulting solution consists of a dynamic and intuitive personal expense management application, enriched with information automatically provided by banking institutions.
