Abstract

From this situated position, and with practices supported by a solid educational theory, we have been able to establish an effective work methodology, which has materialized in the so-called MAI Method. A pedagogical model with scientific rigor that is based on artistic education and children's art in formal educational contexts. With the MAI Method, regulated education students are provided with the didactic contents established by regulations, through active methodologies that promoteself-learning, autonomy and critical thinking of students, while enhancing creativity and freedom of artistic manifestations. of boys and girls. Through the projects and tasks carried out under this pedagogical method, a Children's Art Museum is generated in parallel, in the educational center itself, which provides an inspiring environment for children, benefits the teaching-learning process and facilitates educational research on children's art...
