Abstract
Esta Tesis Doctoral, titulada “La yuxtaposición de ubicuidades en la imagen caleidoscópica”, presenta una investigación en profundidad sobre este asunto. Su interés radica en que apenas se han realizado investigaciones con esta perspectiva sobre la imagen caleidoscópica, por lo que esta Tesis contribuye a ampliar el conocimiento sobre su naturaleza. Dado el carácter visual de lo caleidoscópico en diferentes disciplinas, se ha considerado relevante abordar su estudio desde la investigación artística. Además de como principal constituyente de la imagen caleidoscópica –un conjunto de imágenes repetidas sincrónicamente e idénticas entre sí–, lo que se denomina en esta Tesis Doctoral como “yuxtaposición de ubicuidades” se basa en su detección en diferentes periodos, contextos y disciplinas, lo que dará muestra de su ubicuidad. Igualmente, en esta investigación se contempla el estudio de la yuxtaposición de ubicuidades en el observador de la imagen caleidoscópica –lo que genera una interferencia en el sujeto–, así como en otro tipo de espacios caleidoscópicos. This PhD Thesis, entitled “The juxtaposition of ubiquities in kaleidoscopic image”, presents a research in depth about this issue. The research interest is to investigate this subject to increase our understanding of kaleidoscopic nature, since little research had been carried out on kaleidoscopic image from this perspective. Due to the visual nature of kaleidoscopic events in different fields, it was considered relevant to approach this issue from artistic research. What is denominated in this PhD Thesis as “juxtaposition of ubiquities” constitutes the main component of kaleidoscopic image –identical images synchronically repeated as a whole–. This conception is based on the detection of the kaleidoscopic image in different periods, contexts and areas, which will manifest its ubiquity. In addition, this research allows the study of the juxtaposition of ubiquities in the observer, which generates interference in the subject, as well as regarding other kaleidoscopic spaces.
