Abstract
The present final degree work, entitled "Monitoring cardiac activity using iWatch and cloud", focuses on a main objective of great relevance in the field of healthcare: obtaining a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) using the Apple Watch device, and then sending it to a FHIR server for storage and analysis. In order to achieve this goal, an iOS application was developed that allows accessing and accurately using the data stored in the Apple Health server generated by the Apple Watch. Successfully, a connection was established between the application and the FHIR server, which has enabled the transmission of electrocardiograms. In addition, as an integral part of the project, a web application has been implemented that provides patients and physicians with the ability to visualize and analyze the collected ECG samples. This application, with its potential, establishes itself as a valuable tool for remote health monitoring and early detection of possible cardiac problems in patients. The results obtained open the door to future improvements, highlighting the possibility of integrating this solution with other digital health technologies.
