Abstract
This work studies the dynamics of cosmological equations for scalar field models as an alternative to the cosmological constant. To this end, new variables are introduced that lead to the differential equations governing the evolution of density parameters, and the stability of their solutions is analyzed. Additionally, cases with coupling between non-relativistic matter and dark energy are explored, as well as potentials with non-constant values of the parameter λ. It is concluded that only certain models are compatible with the accelerated expansion observed experimentally.
